Menominee Historic Downtown Farmers Market and Menominee Downtown Business Association Presents:
The 10th Annual Giant Pumpkin Festival & Artisan Market

Saturday, September 23, 2023
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The highlight event is a Giant Pumpkin Boat Race between assorted sponsored businesses and groups from the surrounding communities.  The average pumpkin size to race is 400 to 500 pounds! The Giant Pumpkin Festival is a fun event that brings the community together to watch a ridiculous Giant Pumpkin “boat” race, eat local foods, and enjoy local artists and vendors.

This year’s festival will include booths with Craft Vendors, Artists, Direct Sales Vendors, Food Vendors, and a Farmers Market.  The entire event is family fun focused.

Different Contests:

Jack-O-Lantern Painting/carving – prizes (for all ages)
Pumpkin Bowling (ages 3-12) (ages 13-adults)
Pumpkin Decorating Activity (children 3-12)
Pumpkin Seed Spitting Contest – prizes (for all ages)
Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest – prizes (Youth Group & Adult Group)

Additional Activities:

Local Musician, “Bouncy” House Fun, Pumpkin Bean Bag Toss, and more!

To participate as a craft sales vendor, artist, direct sales vendor, or food vendor, please fill out the appropriate application and submit with your registration fee.  All vendors and artists must be approved by the GPF Committee members.  You will be notified in a timely manner of acceptance.  *Note:  We do not offer exclusive vendor booths, although we do try to have a wide variety.  Our goal is to offer artists, crafters, hobbyists, youth groups, and any others interested to partake in the festival.
