Thank you for your interest in Menominee Historic Downtown Farmers Market for our Saturday and Thursday Markets. We are excited to welcome you to our community of hard-working, friendly vendors for the 2026 Season. Our goal this year is simple: grow the market and help our vendors grow with it. You can count on us to support you as you get established and connect with our growing base of loyal customers. Throughout the season, we highlight our vendors on our website, Facebook page and through our email newsletter. This year, we are offering three vendor sign-up options to give you flexibility and support. .
In recent years, we have continued to maintain a welcoming environment for everyone at the market. Please be respectful of anyone who chooses to wear a mask, whether vendor or customer.
We follow all applicable Michigan regulations, including the Michigan Cottage Food Law, MDARD and USDA rules for eggs and meat, and Michigan Sales Tax License requirements for crafters. These guidelines help ensure a safe and successful market for everyone.
We proudly participate in programs that help increase access to
fresh, local food, including Senior Market FRESH, Michigan WIC Produce Connection, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP/EBT), Fair Food Network’s Double UP Food Bucks, Produce As Medicine, the U.P. Fresh Food Access Program, and the Menominee Downtown Business Association Gift Certificate program. We also accepts Visa, Master Card, and Discover credit/debit cards, and cash at the markets.
2026 Market Season:
- The summer market season will run from the third week of May to last week of September.
- Saturday Market will be held every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 940 1st Street, Menominee, MI, the Spies Public Library parking lot. For 2026, the season will begin on May 23 and end September 26.
- Thursday Market will be held every Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The 2026 season will begin on May 28, and end August 27, 2026. at the Menominee, MI, Great Lakes Memorial Marnia Park 600 Block of 1st Street (South end of Park)
- The winter market was closed for the 2025-2026 season. Plans for the 2026-2027 winter season are still being finalized
- Vendor Options for 2026
- We offer three flexible vendor options so you can choose what best fits your business. Full details and pricing are included in the application packet.
- Seasonal Vendors (Best Value): A full-season commitment with guaranteed space and promotional perks.
- Pro-Rated Seasonal Vendor: For vendors joining later in the season. Fees are adjusted based on your start date, and you receive all Seasonal Vendor benefits.
- Occasional/Daily Vendor: Ideal for vendors who plan to attend select dates throughout the season.
- Community Events & Partnerships
- Our market partners with local organizations to bring special events and added visibility to our vendors. These include the Giant Pumpkin Festival (with BABO), the Downtown Christmas Parade, and our annual Food Truck Rally on August 20, 2026. We may also collaborate with the DDA and BABO on Bites by the Bay and will share updates as they become available.

- Our market participates in a statewide research project with the Michigan Farmers Market Association. To support this work, vendors who accept SNAP, Double Up Food Bucks, and other government programs, or who use the market’s debit/credit machine, will be asked to record their sales on a simple worksheet provided at the start of each market day. Worksheets are returned to the Market Manager at the end of the day.
